Big Trees, Big Plans and Little Gardens

Peered down through smudgy conservatory windows at tiny daisies.
Looked up at trees and thought 'conifers need doing'.
Got chainsaw out.

Flicked through flaking recipe books.
Stood in living room and stared at new curtains.
G. called. Spoke at length about his big plans. He's very excited. Pleased for him. Took joy in another's happiness. How infectious good things are.

Peered through smudgy windows in every room.
Thought 'all my miniature patio needs is a wash'.
Made a cup of tea and ate a coconut biscuit.
Might plant something bright and yellow to lift me up when I'm down.
Must tidy my little postage stamp of a garden.
Can't bring myself to kill weeds though.
Will buy plastic frogs and gnomes next time I'm in town.

Put Tomato seeds in. Bit late but cross fingers I should have some Roma plums by July.
