Quick-as-lightning viz to the crinklies.
Good news on the the mum front...all looking well... good news being...next appointment three weeks. Then doing a creaking jig along the hospital corridor in celebration.
Dad still sleeps... only waking for tea cake and wheezy rant. No change there then!
Me and mumsie did a quick in and out of three charity shops, buying one giant blue and white and cup (50p) (mine)
Then a blitz around Tesco for white bread and piccalilli.
Then back to theirs for sweet almighty tea, Aaaah!
Yadder yadder, cough cough, natter noo, Britain's Got Talent, cracked heel cream and who the sexiest man on tv is.
Then I swept out and home. Home on an almost empty train save for one man constantly mobiling about the pain of extensions. (hair or home?)
Cat jumped me on arrival so I wrestled him to the floor, not because he's so bloody gorgeous but because I was HOME!
Cooking tonight:
Sausagemeat with small pasta
Soda Rolls... which I must make pronto
and for dessert
half an Easter egg:)

Only The Good Stuff...
Special Bank Holiday Greetings to you all:)
I've just made a dozen blueberry muffins and half a dozen chocolate chip. Most of these will sit next to me tomorrow as I travel on the dawn express to London:(
Dear Mother has an early early appointment with the Foot Man at St Mary's and as Dad can't be arsed to go I've been roped in:)
But that's tomorrow what about today?
Probably a blood and guts film this p.m. then definitely a Brisket of British Beef with glistening vari-shaped trimmings later on.
Have I mentioned my knees lately? They've been up. So have been eating drugs like fingers of fudge.

Blue

Being cooked today before 'Contact' a trio of fat chicken legs and pan of assorted shaped chips.
(Too whacked from yesterday to huff and puff with a large bird.)
The much talked about Blueberry Muffins were fluffed and gorgeous. We gently tore them apart before allowing the burst berries to turn our mouth parts blue.
Lovely.

Update on the update....
Have, just this minute, tasted a Muffin, bit too much formic acid I think, but other than that very nice indeed...
Having decided I'm far too exhausted to make Chilli Con Carne, I've made an insect free Pizza Margherita.
Sitting alongside will be a fuss and fat free jacket potato with nibblets of buttered sweetcorn stuffed therein.
To drink...Pop for the Master and sherry for his Mistress.
Having eaten hardly anything substantial today I've made up for it by making two mini chocolate saucy puddings, these delightful domes will sit in blue dishes surrounded by a pool of chilled creamy Carnation milk.
Then Later...
I will probably watch a little light t.v. until age demands I flop my nut.

Sad Update......
I just found an ant in my Muffin mix.
I of course tried to save it by scooping it out with Mr H's dinner knife and cleaning it off with a towel but to no avail, the poor blighter died.
The Muffin mix is ok though:)

Raining

I love rain.
Being cooked today...
I don't know. Feel inclined to ditch what's written in my diary (Chilli) and plump for something completely different.
I will though make a few Bluberry Muffins...The mere mention of their name brings on a smile. Blueberry Muffins, Blueberry Muffins...Blueberry Muffins.
Watched a film (recorded) called The Locket (1946) it's about a crazy woman who, as a child, was accused of stealing a locket, and then, ever since that life altering moment, made it her life's work to capture trinkets of all kinds, even if it meant lying and killing.
Atmospheric and silly. I loved it.
Things on my mind other than Robert Mitchum and Muffins...Bigger bags and capsicums.
Really.

Yesterday's London day drained me, so came home late and spent wanting everything like love and food, in excess.
Whilst mixing bolognaise and tri colour pasta together we had the Godfather on, you know the one, the original one, the best one, the one with Brando and the horses head.
And as the theme music soothed and relaxed and the night got darker, as dark as my thoughts, I melted by roughly tearing hot herb bread and quickly sipping blood red sherry. The moody soundtrack was the perfect accompaniment to a much required night time feast...and so there we sat in our low lit room enjoying both sound and taste.
Back to yesterday.
Mum bought a mauve flimsy blouse and dad wheezed, and in between rasping wheezes, spoke about Giggsy, Obama and God.
I looked at him from the comfort of my leather tub chair thinking "stay with me" and glanced over at mum as she held up her 'new' blouse to the beautiful sunlight. "Not see through is it Ang?"
"No, not see through, just perfect for summer".
Then after drinking a passion fruit yoghurt I left.
Passion.
Passion.
Passion.
I've got loads of passion.

A New Beginning
Monday 23rd May start of a new day, new week...
I've just checked up on the bird population...a friskiness of sparrows swirl from feeder to feeder, a pair of pigeons spying from the aerial... so generally an excellent beginning to the week.
Talking of excellence... I'll make a chicken pie later, and as usual won't stick fully to the recipe as laid down by Ms Berry, will probably tinker.
I watched Andrew Marr's interview with President Obama, his job (the President's) is clearly taking its toll, especially in the sockets under his beautiful eyes. I'm barmy enough to wonder whether Barack is strong enough for a second term, after all the election isn't that far away. If I were him I'd go to Camp David with Michelle and the nippers and take stock.
That reminds me I have a few new recipes to try which require wine shot stock, I expect a little sherry would do the job. We'll see.
Before I sign off I want to publicly thank the oodles of people who messaged me about the picture of my new frock, your compliments and generosity won't be forgotten or go unrewarded.
And now like my darling birds, I must fly..................

My London Day on Mum's Birthday
Certainly wet and warm and full of love.
The Lovelies were as well as could be expected.
They gooed over the baked goodies and licky licky tonguey wungied over the red berry trifle. Mum's birthday presents were handled gently and smiled over, she especially liked her 'diamond' coated trinket box. Dad snorted something about 'age' and snoozed orf.
Whilst the news was on I gobbled up chicken in red wine.
Me and mum dawdled to the shops, she didn't buy anything other than a crime book, I on the other hand, kept in character, by purchasing a large metal and wicker basket, handle was the selling point. It now holds seven apples and two lemons. Methinks a fruit buying frenzy is on the cards.
One of mum and dad's older neighbours (4th floor retired postie ) told me I looked a 'million dollars'. I thanked him and strode to the lift feeling supreme.
After a long and lengthy meander through times gone past me mum dad had another pot of tea watching a muted Deal or No Deal.
Then more nattering, mostly about how important 'doing what you want' is. How doctors have a warped sick sense of humour. One chest doc saying to him 'there isn't any more we can do but with this and that we'll try to extend your plank....'
Dad declined all offers of support, but I stroked and cajoled until finally he agreed to another visit next week. Possibly with a stew.
I left quickly and silently because I don't like leaving.

Wake up Girl!
All I did was set off for the station at 22:45 last night and, on the way, pop into the garage to get some petrol..
However Road Repair Men had other ideas.
Driving along I came to ROAD CLOSED sign and DIVERTED TRAFFIC SIGN.
I don't do diversions, I get lost, all I want is to top up my little tank and pick up my husband.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
So, with a blackened sky and little juice in Alex , I set off on my tour of the Essex countryside...
Where the blue blazes was I going, this diversion was taking me all over the jolly place, along bleak roads with nothing but Cat's Eyes for lights, meandering down countryfied lanes watching out for BADGERS! I was way out of my comfort zone and so not a happy bunkins.
Eventually I arrived, and looking at my little red gas gauge I knew the ride home might prove worrying. But I soldiered on..
Getting to the station I parked up, lights off, door locked and waited and waited and waited.......
Eventually I phoned Mr H asking "where are you light of my life " (I think that's what I warbled)
Just left Stratford.......he said... Should be with you in 45 minutes................
Tonight due to craters under eyes I will go to bed early leaving Mr H. to make his own way home....(I can be hard)
My trip to Southend this morning was awful...I was so tired and out of sorts that I reversed into a bush. No harm done to me or motor, just a few shunted petals:)
Now I must get on, have a load of baking to do. Mum's birthday tomorrow you see so will make her favourite fancies, Madeleines, also have a small pot plant for her and a pink sparkly jumper:)
But first tea and bottle of Pro-Plus!

A bit of my day
....After a lightening cheapo burger I set about busting up a couple of old dining chairs, in the bin they went.
Then a quick move around of various plant pots...basil, parsley, tomatoes. Basil you know is known as the King of Herbs and I can see and taste why. A brilliant little fellow, smooth glossy and, when held to your nose, fills them nostrils with a warm spicy fragrance. Yum. Parsley is a silly old herb, but perfect in a bouquet garni or for a decorative topping on stuff. I like it chopped and added to garlic bread. I put parsley either dried or fresh in everything I cook.
Tomatoes are my favourite fruit, lovely raw, grilled with olive oil or wedged and fried and served alongside scrambled egg and a workman's sausage. By the way I love fried bread...
Just before 3 this afternoon I stared lovingly at a freshly ripe shining strawberry, fat it was. I looked as if I'd never seen one before. So thrilled with the plump berry. I may take this first fruit to London this week...
Must get a few more. Plants that is. Possible detour to Homebase tomorrow...
After a while the jumper I was wearing began to give me the pip so off it came.
I've decided that for Mum's birthday (coming soon) I'll be making mini Madeleines baked in mini Brioche tins of which I have six.
They'll be fiddly to make but given enough time and tea I should do a reasonable job.
Other culinary news....
I'm excited about a few new recipes. A cheese one, basically a Cheddar/Gruyere flan with extra goodies, a bacon one, basically a chicken casserole with wine, chopped rashers and mushrooms and a chocolate fudgey one, basically a rich tray bake with choc icing and snipped soft fudge.
The Lemon Meringue pie I made a couple of days ago was lovely, a bitterly lemony treat with just enough sweet meringue to save the day and tongue.
The big Bakewell Tart was gorgeous, although the pastry underbelly was a tad undercooked.
Sunday lunch was queer in so far as I had beef but not a roast. I opened a tin of Corned Beef and served Yorkies, veg and ketchup with it.
For pud the remnants of the aforemetioned Lemon Pie.
Back to gardening: A while ago I was given a large Pot Chrysanthemum and, I'm pleased to say, it's still flowering. It stands not on a shiny surface in the front room but on a stained bleached and battered pine table in the back garden under the Japanese Maple.
Now I must get back to being outside...:)

My Muse has flown...
So no poetry from me...
I had a feeling She was ready to flee because her visits became fewer.
Awful shame really but I can't say I'm surprised and, as I'm so fond of saying,...One can't serve two masters.
Being consumed by domesticity then trying to write verse is almost impossible. Managed it for a good while but now cakes have won out.
I find myself turning to food sites rather than poetry sites. A case of growing up or a case of finding more satisfaction in ganache and meatballs? Whatever. It's over.
I knew it was all change when, on Saturday night, after a bit of an upset, I couldn't put finger to keypad and by so doing allay myself of the pumping rage which had me gurgling blood. So, I had a cup of tea, and went early to bed.
It's a bloody shame though because penning poems has given me a lot of pleasure, but we move on and on to other things, other lifelines, different hobbies pop their heads up.
So a huge hug to my Muse, all 6ft of her, no more will I see your voluminous hair catching the grey papery webs in the corner of my glorious book lined office.
On my mind today other than loss... mini Brioche tins...

So glad it's Friday! The start of a relaxing weekend and the Eurovision Song Contest.
I've made a couple of sweet flans for the occasion and will rustle up some Blue burgers on account of our entry...The boys from ageing boy band Blue MUST do us proud... but most of all they must blow Ireland's entry out of the water, don't know the name of the Irish ditty but I do know who's 'singing' it...JEDWARD. Flipping Jedward! The dastardly duo who became a household name after appearing on The X Factor. Truly insane and rank and terrible...Could win it knowing the madness of the Eurovision voting panels...
Ireland douze points....:(
An awful vision just flashed in front of my eyes..The crazed warblers wetting themselves with joy at their WIN.
Tell me it won't be so.
Anyway we'll be watching, and will, as always talk all the way through it. Mostly about the entrant's gear and Graham Norton's double entendres. Worth watching just for that. Like him but he isn't as good as Old Tel.
By the way.
Popped out today and bought White Vinegar for the de-scaling of bathroom sink.
I NEED A BREAK!
Cooking tonight: Maccheroni Con La Salsiccia E Le Carot, John, soda rolls, Lemon Meringue Pie.
Am aching for a bottle of Merlot.
This sudden lust for alcohol has come about because of my swollen fingers:)
Ageing lovers shouldn't lay carpet!

Don't Bend Over In My Bathroom...

Because if you do you'll see the results of me let loose with a pair of kitchen scissors and a Stanley knife:)
No really...It looks alright. Ok it's not as flat or clean edged or as straight as a professional carpet fitter would like but it's Home. And that's what matters...
This priceless off-cut from a friend was laid down with all the hope and expectation of a sweet lady in the throws of several mid-life crisises...
First of all I needed tools.
First to hand was a pair of decent kitchen scissors, the ones I use for de-rinding bacon, but they were no match for the thick mat, oh no ,I needed a serious tool and when I thought of a serious tool Mr H. immediately sprangto mind. So I sifted through his dangerous box and found a Stanley knife. Delicately brushing my thumb over the blade I thought "Yes that seems sharp enough":( So off I went.
Beast.
The carpet had been measured by me outside and I was certain it'd lay down a treat inside .But this was me remember, me who does insane things with Sellotape. Anyway I laid it, pressed it with my slippered feet and kind of marked it with a biro, then kind of clipped it with the scissors and then kind of sawed it with the knife.
It was soooo funny:(
Monty by the way was useless, as I bent and scrunched and generally got the pip he, the blighter sat regally watching. Typical man.
Anyway as I waded through the flying shavings one thought kept me afloat...how smooth and rich it was going to look and how, when I splat out of the shower, the rich deep pile would comfort my bones and pruned skin.
I drove on....
By the time I'd got to the 'bowl' I was beginning to lose it, not the bowl that is cemented into place, but my patience, why can't anything be easy, why can't I just flop it down, stamp it into position and lean back smug.... like all the old trouts in tv ad land.
You must be joking...
Meanwhile the King looked on, occasionally shooting at paw at flying bits of fluff, while I panted and glowed with my chin on the deck.
At last I was nearly there, just one more slice and cut, one more tuck and poke, and I'll be home...
And then... there it was...It was laid ish....
I stood up staring down at my new lush flooring.
And wondered about the door...:(
The carpet is thick:(
The door will only need a sharp shove:)
It does look nice though;)

The jelly was silly and moreish and, with ice cream on the side, transported us back to scooters and grazed knees.
The Marbled cake was just yum. Had a slice with a cuppa. Lots and lots left of course, so over the next three days, will be used as a simple pudding with lashings of scrummy custard.
I love cooking!

......................Anyway the curtains are up! Bit wavy at the bottom where I cut them but who's going to notice or care except moi?
As I cut and cooked I had half an eye on the Health debate which was taking place in the House of Commons...What a terrible fright I had. All these proposed Tory horrors surrounding our beloved and admired NHS... well, I was so unsettled by it all I had to have some more jam.

Blitzed around the bungalow this morning dusting and stuff then strolled down the road in search of kitchen curtains.
My bare window is giving me the pip so... out with the old and in with the new...
15 mins later...
Hanging on the rail waiting for me....a pair of pale blue lightly flowered curtains. Big smile. Till I saw the length:( Will need cutting and stitching and I am so bad at both but will have a go this afternoon. I'm crossing fingers that there'll be enough left over to make a mini curtain which will hide the family of bins!
Because of the fine weather I've gone white mad.
White flowers on mantlepiece, small white birdie cushions on chairs and snoozing white ceramic cat in hearth.
White is a cheap and effective treatment for brightening Autumnal type rooms.
Yesterday, before lunch, I moved kitchen table and dresser BACK to their original positions. Sitting over by the wall, although affording more space, felt wrong! So after putting up with it for a good while I decided to return to my first love...Table in middle:)
If the kitchen is the heart of the house then a centre placed table is it's blood!
There's something spiritual about seating people in the centre of the room and me, like a flitting bonkers butterfly, settling down plates of delectable food right under their flaring hooters.
On offer tonight:
Chicken pie and mashed tatties.
Afterwards....An all time favourite... Bread and Butter Pudding:)
Now I must see to the kitchen curtains...X

A Charity case...
Chocolate recipe book...Wow!
Wooden tray with cat pic. Miserable blighter too:)
Country recipe book. Onion and raisin casserole...ideally served with jacket pots and cheese.
Witches skirt in swirly colours. Reduced rail.
And lastly...
A fishy dishy. Large and ideal for my fish dishes.
Oh and a couple of pints of petrol for Alex:)
Our mackerel was talk-stopping. Laid the beast on a bed of watercress and topped him with fresh orange slices. Yum.
Tonight I'm back to common with hamburgers;)

My lovely darlings...
How I wanted to wrap them in cotton wool and, with a snap of my fingers, click their frailties away.
Mum and me shopped, me more than her, she preferring to wait outside on account of too many people around the books.
So outside the Notting Hill Housing charity shop she leant on her trolley, meanwhile inside I tried on the most gorgeous mink coloured lace dress and as I turned this way then that way I imagined all sorts of things, things like where I'll wear it and with whom I'll share it...then I handed over cash to big boned Gloria on the till... A curvaceous purple cheeked African woman. She rattled with her armour of jewellry and her manner was as warm as toast. A real smasher. And generous too..she let me have the dress for less than the marked price.
After a fruitless dawdle around the madly over-priced YMCA shop we stopped off in Tescoes where mum bought silly chicken and canned peaches and I bought smoked mackerel, watercress and an orange.
The sun was really out now, how it blazed and boiled, so much so that I had to remove my leather jacket.
Mum's hair meringued up with the slight breeze and she took my arm as we approached The Redan. "Fancy a pint?" I asked the tee totaller
"I might as well have been a drunkard" she said remotely...
Back in doors dad was snoozing on his chair, a chair which cost a fortune and which now is so out of favour he wants shot of it...Hello....:)
After waking him up with a tap on the head and a cup of tea we sat and chatted...
The referendum fiasco.
Nick Clegg's future or lack of.
Osama Bin Laden and Cheryl Cole.
After another piece of shop bought cake mum flicked through the book I'd bought her, one about Essex Crimes of the last century.
Dad complained about the bills.
I changed bags.
Then I was out of there. And home on the train with a sicko wacko sitting next to me. If I'd been a lesser more timid little woman I'd have screamed. But I'm a wise sort, so let the idiot be.
On the drive home I didn't want to come straight home so I did a detour, going nowhere in particular, just felt the need to experience some other kind of wildlife so I drove along and down the curved lanes of Brays Lane.
Then I indicated right and came home.
Blissful.
In about a hour I'll fasten my seat belt again and go pick up Mr H. On the short journey back we'll probably talk about our day, I will of course only air the good parts...
All in all a cute day... lunch with the lovelies, the acquisition of a fab clingy lush dress and the demolition of creamy cake :)

I Love Lucy

After a light bite to eat I sat in the garden reading my newest gardening book...And I came to the conclusion that gardening is like any other creative project...riddled with hard work, some failure, some success but most of all satisfaction.
The thing is when I read anything, be it cookery books or gardening books I always end up doing something daft like spending money on patty tins or shrubs. But oh the joy, the almost childlike joy of seeing something, whether it's a plant or pie, sitting on the table or gracing the garden step.
Talking of pies...I watched a fantastic programme on BBC4 called "If Walls Could Talk. Presented by the wild and lovely Lucy Worsley.
I'm sad to say I missed a couple of episodes but made sure I recorded the 'kitchen' one. I was entranced by it, by the way Miss Worsley presented it, bringing to life kitchen life since medieval times right up to now!
With her slightly wacko wit and fabulous clothes she entertained and informed and I loved both the programme and her.
What a gem.
It's true that the kitchen is the heart of the home, and if I were to give MY kitchen a medical I'd say it's in fair nick for it's age, has the ability to put people at their ease, and instils in me, a lady advanced in years, a feeling of hard romantic liaisons... mostly with the old grater.

"Hallo Hallo, I want the crap job... whaddya mean I've gotta fill a form in some time in the future and wait till Boss man gets back from Utah, I'm telling ya I can do this, no you're not listening I can stack and yack and bring more customers in than you've ever dreamt of... now get off the fone and do the one thing you were put on this earth to do...Make the best decision you've ever made. Hire me!"I phoned about a minimum wage menial job today...The self important guy on the phone a.k.a God, hurled this lot...My italicised replies are fiction but they went through my head like a dose of salts...
"Are you fully experienced?"
I don't think it'd take fully forever to learn the art of Shelf du Fill.
"Are you people orientated?"
I lean towards certain types, yes.
"Could you do Bank Holidays and some Saturdays and some late nights and cover for people when they're off or on maternity leave"
You betcha! I also leap through hoops of fire without n.h.s protection
"Have you done this before?"
What talk on the phone? Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh yes...My real name is Fonehooker darling and I realllllly love talking dirty to twats like you about slave jobs in the private sector.... it really turns me on. Hun.
"Can you call in LATE NEXT week for an application form?"
Next week? I'll be off the boil by then dear.
"The owner is in America on business and won't be back for a little while so..."
So bye bye!"

Update from my earlier post.....
Didn't do much just dragged one of the de-booked bookcases from here to there, then, after re-booking I rearranged the ceramic cats, dislodged dust and Snickers wrappers from all over and ever so slightly shoved my big telly a little thisaway! A couple of inches DOES make a difference to a lady's over all happiness.
While all this palaver was going on I had a videoed Columbo on, the one with the brilliant Ruth Gordon (Old Minnie in Rosemary's Baby) where she is the crime writer who locks a young man in her safe where he suffers death by lack of oxygen. Revenge is a dish best served blue:) Anyway it was a little background fun for me.
And then I was finished...
Much pleasure upon the eye Sir!
Now I play:)

Things on my mind..

A.V. Choosing one is hard enough...Will vote tomorrow, it is my duty.
My new blouse. Gypsy Glo. Cross my palm with silver matey...And I will tell you ALL...
Irish Soda Rolls. Make a batch for weekend. Usage? Home for hamburgers, accomp. to soup. Yummy with ketchupped bacon steaks.
The re-arrangement of major furniture. Out with the old, in with the er...more old! Have incredible wooden urges.
Cherry Tart. The making of. Deep red fruit encased in crisp buttery pastry shell. Gorgeous with ice cream and heels.
Nick Clegg. His imminent departure. Please. Rat. Double crossing beast.
Dead Man's Shoes. The Movie. Paddy Considine as an ex-soldier out to kill the men who tortured his special needs brother. Excellent but was so unsettling I couldn't possibly watch it ever again.....
Most unsettling scene?
Whenever the brilliant Considine faked fear. When facing his victims his quick faux shudder and my temperature dropped. Fabulous stuff. Haven't yet deleted it...
Custard Tartlets:)
I saw a fox late last night, a lean cat too, whilst waiting for the train, and as I stared down the lone taxi driver I thought about today and how wonderful it'd be....Out and about in the morning and then the afternoon. Lovely.
I also thought about last night's positively dreadful poetry, I really must STOP it. Goo is best left in the pot.
Now I must fly...

The Love, The Spider and The Rain
Its legs brittle as blackened china
the spider pirouettes,
fingering scanty silk from one dust patch to another
the solo acrobat, like cowboy Joe, lasoos threads
and silently trips home.
I would make it too
legs sprawled
white stretched to a fine V
resolve
do so resolve...that I
I
I do give a fuck
and listen as God's tears equal my own

Fairy Blogmother
After pottering in the garden I strolled to the charity shop in brilliant sunshine and roaring wind. My step appeared lighter more dainty and I'm sure it was on account of the red flowered shoes I was wearing.
Joan in the shop commented on how 'tiny' I was and that I'd look 'good as a fairy'........
"Just bag my stuff" I said sweetly and so she did even 'forgetting' to charge for my gardening book...Love you...
Yes I bought another gardening book but this one is the real McCoy a complete encyclopaedia type one if you will, line drawings, quotes, stacks of info with long Latin names. The whole caboodle.
Can't I just broadcast my seeds and have done with it?
At any rate It's a good read and perfect for apple green numpties like what I am:)
Also bagged were a black and red silk cosmetic purse, a Pur Una slightly boho type blouse in every colour on the palette and, for Mother, a heart shaped, silver plated, diamante encrusted trinket box. Won't go into monetary costs because it's irrelevant and rather vulgar.
£2:25.
It's been a fair day weatherwise and I'm hoping for a clear week ahead because there are a few unladylike jobs to bodge up and around the bungalow...(garden included)
Too uninteresting to blog about of course, but they will require super glue of which I have none, some kind of vessel in which to hold more bird seed and a creamy vicious cleaning product to help dislodge the grey cloudy gunk in and around my wash basin. I've tried EVERYTHING. So tomorrow I will faint with boredom as I read labels about gunk:(
The bird food vessel will, once I've found it, be stuck carefully on my kitchen windowsill so even more tweeties can nose in at me whilst I'm stuck to un evier.
Such is my love for birds that I'm contemplating installing another bird table, this one, this time, will be unceremoniously placed under the bay window...Right under the glass...Can't wait for my first head hit:)
I've lost weight by the way, down two pounds.
This loss of fat has been accompanied by a feeling of extreme good health so will tonight be celebrated by over indulging in Malted Milk Biscuits to which I must confess I've become rather fond.
And that's fine because this week on account of solitariness I will be able to eat them willy nilly. (Mr H on a late shift dear and all the week too). So, as the night turns dark and my feet get roasted, I'll dive into celluloid violence whilst ripping apart the bikkie wrapper..
:)
