Prose Poem 2. Carer

Am faced with keyboard not knowing what to write.
"Write what you know" say publishing giants...
"Whose bones hurt most?" I thought, cradling mum's veined body
"Hers" said my half bent self
For I am lusty without failings , she, contorted, without identity.

Angela Norris

Had a bit of a day so decided to steam a couple of shop bought Steak and Kidney puddings instead of making my own.
For pud? Raspberry jelly inlaid with jewelled canned fruits!

What an amazing poem - it says so little, but yet so much - where did you find it?

Sometimes creative skills go on back burner whilst you attend more important famil matters. Your talent will return and in abundance

Where did I find it?

I wrote it.

Terry creativity doesn't go away when life sucks, it burns even brighter.

...Then your creativity is alive, kicking, and there for all (who have been in your situation) to see.
