Great day shopping!
Bought a bottle of South African wine for Christmas day. It now stands alongside the rest of the booze on my old dresser.
Booze Information:
1 bottle of Hardy's White wine.
I bottle of Sainsbury's Ginger Wine.
1 bottle of Somerset Cider.
1 bottle of South African Red.
In the fridge are two bottle of beer. One will go into a beef casserole, the other will be drunk whilst getting stuck to popcorn.
4 non-alcoholic bottles stand by the fridge just infront of the basket. They are Oranginas and Lemonades.
Also popped in the trolley was a bottle of Camp coffee and chicory essence. Deelish cold but better hot. It'll be used too, as an ingredient in my Buche Noel.
Loads of other festive things were purchased in a heaving Sainsburys'
Ground Cloves for the Braised Red Cabbage.
Red Wine vinegar. See above.
Japanese Rice Crackers.
Later...
Tootled into the car wash to have a very muddy Alex spruced up. And he has come up nice. I gave the Lithuanian lad or whatever nationality he was a pre-Christmas tip because I don't want him bending me wipers out of shape come the new year.
I also half filled him up (that's Alex not the Lithuanian) because I can't stand watching that little black needle banging against the the little red thing at the end.
