A wind
more fit for March
undressed my hair
and rain
more suited to April
toned my plum coloured cheeks
As truth filled our coffee cups
and honesty flattened the pillows
a tractor joke made us laugh
Our book is aged
with pages stained
its spine
notched with errors
but overleaf
and at its end
a chapter
as yet unread
